ISLAND RUNNING FESTIVAL ANNOUNCEMENTS
We are excited to share that we have partnered with the Alameda 10 Miler to bring you a full weekend of events in 2024. Read all the details below, and get excited for new races, a bigger expo, kid zone and music

Bank of Marin island Running Festival
Half Marathon, 10 Mile, 5k, 10K, and 1 Mile Family Fun run
Join us in 2024 for a unique three day experience of racing on Alameda Point. We have moved the event date to August and teamed up with the Alameda 10 Miler to truly bring a distance for every participant.
The various distances will highlight several beautiful areas around the island from Alameda point and it’s many new running trails, the estuary shoreline, USS Hornet and a beautiful venue at the finish.
We hope that all of Alameda comes out to enjoy a day of running, walking, and supporting the community at this marquee Island event.
We are projecting 3,000 runners and another 1,000 spectators that will visit the island and we can’t wait to share all of the running trails, great views and local business on and around the city. The Bank of Marin Island Running Festival will create a 3-day festival of events that will include an expo around Health and Wellness presented by Alameda Health Systems, as well as community involvement with local schools, business & beneficiaries.
Join us in creating a successful weekend that will showcase the beauty of the island and our fantastic running community.

Race Schedules
- Thursday August 15th, 2024: Packet Pick-up ~ 4:00pm - 7:00pm Faction Brewery. 2501 Monarch St, Alameda Point. Alameda, Ca. https://www.factionbrewing.com
- Friday August 16th, 2024: Packet pick-up for all weekend events: 4:00pm - 7:00pm
- Saturday, August 17th, 2024: Alameda 10 miler ~ 8:00am, / 1 mile Family fun Run ~ 10:00am ~ Health and Wellness Expo 8:00am - Noon
- Sunday August 18th, 2024: Half Marathon ~ 7:30am, 10K ~ 8:00am, 5k ~ 8:15am and Health and Wellness Expo 8:00am - Noon
Packet pickup for Saturday will start at 6:30am and Sunday will start at 6:00am to accommodate the early start of the Half Marathon
BIBS for Sunday's events will be available for pick-up from 6:30am to 12:00noon on Saturday
