For me, this journey started almost 10 years ago with a 5k run that honored my father and raised money for the Multiple Myeloma Research Foundation. We are going to come together on November 22nd for a FREE Fun-Run around Alameda point. Come join us!

Hospital Foundation Spring Run
5k,10k and 1/2 mile kids run on Bay Farm Island
April 21, 2024
Our Hospital Foundation spring run at the Harbor Bay Ferry Terminal on Bay Farm in Alameda will have both a 5k and 10k run around with Harbor Bay with views of the Alameda coastline and SF followed by a 1/2 mile kids run run

Parade 5k Run
Beautiful point to point, fully closed 5k run
Kick off the Parade with our 5k run thru Alameda
Come run on completely closed roads lined with spectators. the run will start at 9:00am and this year we will have a portion of Haight street blocked off for parade viewing and refreshments after the run. there will be a DJ, beer and donuts!
This event benefits the Midway Shelter of Alameda.

Island Running Festival
Multiple events on September 24th taking place at Alameda Point
Event Details - August 16th to August 18th, 2024
the Island running festival takes place on Alameda Point and will encompass a full weekend of racing
There will be Mile heats on Friday night along with packet pick up.
Saturday will feature the 10 Mile and Family Fun Run, Health and Wellness Expo and live music.
The 5k, 10k and Half Marathon will close out the weekend on Sunday followed by more Expo, Awards and beer garden. For more information and to register visit the event site

Day of the Dead - Halloween 5k and kids run
New event for 2024! Join us the day after Halloween to celebrate Day of the Dead and run under the lights at the USS Hornet
Event Details - November 1st, 2024
We have added a unique new event for 2024. Join us at the USS Hornet for a night time run around Alameda Point followed by music food and a spooky Day of the Dead celebration on the USS Hornet Pier
there will be a 5k and 1/2 mile kids run. the 5k starts at 6pm and the kids run will start at 6:45pm. Proceeds from the event will go to support the USS Hornet Museum

Midway Shelter 5k
The season comes to an end with a casual and classic 5k that takes place on Bay Farm Island

The Midway Shelter 5k is a classic 5k that has been around for many years and support the Alameda Midway shelter. this event always takes place December 7th. For more information visit the registration site.
There will be a 5k, 10k and kids fun and finishers receive a great shirt, custom bib, finisher medals and post run food
