Hospital Foundation 5k, 10K and 1/2 Mile Kids Run

Event Update - Schedule 

We kick off the Island Race Series with a fundraiser for the Alameda Hospital Foundation. We are bringing this event back at the Harbor Bay Ferry Terminal. Get a head start on the Island Challenge by running one of these flat and fast events. 

• 4/20/24 ~ Packet Pick up: Faction Brewery 2501 Monarch St. Alameda Point. 4:00pm - 7:00pm ** note - if you are bib 400 or above please wait till race morning to pick up your BIB. We will NOT have those BIBS available. thank you 
• 4/21/24 ~ Race morning registration opens at 7:30am: 215 Adelphian Way Bay Farm Ferry Terminal

The 10k run will start at 8:30am and the 5k will start at 8:45am. For more details, see below:

General Overview: 

The 5K (3.1 miles) and 10K (6.2 miles) take you along beautiful trails along Bay Farm with views of the bay, SF and the Island coast. First half of the run is on Harbor Bay Parkway and along the bay trail. 10k runners will continue along the path to the Harbor Bay Club and turn around. 

The 10k run will have an aid station just before Mile 3. 

Once you are finished there will be post run beer provided by Faction Brewery, water provided by Crystal Geyser and an energy boost provided by Celsius energy drinks. 

there will also be music from DJ Raul, Donuts from Donut Petit, food and and age group winner awards presented by Burneikis law. come enjoy a fun local race with a community feel, and support a great beneficiary in the Alameda Hospital Foundation.
