New Location and a new Race for 2026: 5k, 10K, HALF Marathon and 1 Mile fun Run

Event Update - Schedule 

We kick off the Island Race Series with a fundraiser for the Alameda Hospital Foundation. This year we will be at Faction Brewery for a great post run experience. There will also be a Half Marathon added to our 5k, 10k and Kids run

• 4/23 - 4/25/26 ~ Packet pick up: Lauren's Closet 1420 Park St. Alameda. Ca. 10:00am - 6:00pm
• 4/26/26 ~ Race morning registration opens at 6:30am: 2501 Monarch dr / Alameda, Ca. 94501 

The Half starts at 7:30am, the 10k run will start at 8:00am and the 5k will start at 8:15am. there is also a 1 mile fun run at 9:30am. or more details, see below:

Start and Finish: 2501 Monarch st, Faction Brewery Alameda point

Race Day Schedule:

• Packet Pickup ~ 6:30am - 8:30am
• Half Marathon: 7:30am
• 10K: 08:00am 
• 5K: 8:15am
• 1 mile fun run 9:30am

General Overview: 

The 5K (3.1 miles) and 10K (6.2 miles) take you along beautiful trails along Bay Farm with views of the bay, SF and the Island coast. First half of the run is on Harbor Bay Parkway and along the bay trail. 10k runners will continue along the path to the Harbor Bay Club and turn around. 

The 10k run will have an aid station just before Mile 3. 

Once you are finished there will be post run beer provided by Faction Brewery, water provided by Crystal Geyser and an energy boost provided by Celsius energy drinks. 

there will also be music from DJ Mike, food and and age group winner awards presented by Burneikis law. Come enjoy a fun local race with a community feel, and support a great beneficiary in the Alameda Hospital Foundation.
